General Cargo

JH Stevedoring’s location in the heart of the U.S. Eastern Seaboard along with its excellent rail and interstate connections makes it an ideal port and distribution center for general cargo. Our facility is comprised of 2 million square feet of dry storage, 3 on-site class I rail services and intermodal facilities.

We operate a modern 112 lift truck fleet with capacities from 5,000 to 25,000 lbs. for heavy lift, which is helpful for loading and unloading of a variety of project cargos.

In the past few years, we have handled many special project cargoes including parts for power generating plants, chemicals, electronics, large generators, construction equipment, food and ship building materials.
